TORONTO-FEAT for Children co-founders Derek, and daughter, Jessica Reid, are presented with a cheque for $10,000 from the National Bank (NA.TO), through their One for Youth Regional Committee, that has sponsored a Peer Mentorship Project that supports children affected by parental incarceration.
FEAT is the only organization in Canada delivering supportive programming to optimize the outcomes of these at-risk children.
National Bank branch manager Debbie Dias made a cheque presentation to Jessica and Derek Reid, founders of the organization, at the Franklin Horner Community Centre.
In addition to FEAT’s after school programs, the non-profit organization provides a Family Visitation Program that helps children maintain contact with their parent. To learn more about FEAT, please visit www.featforchildren.o
